Earwolf Synopsis[]
Welcome to Comedy Bang Bang: The Podcast! As is to be expected, the first few episodes are where the show finds its footings, and that it does! Rob Huebel from TV’s Human Giant, Tom Lennon from TV’s The State, and Doug Benson from TV’s Last Comic Standing make Scott’s first episode an immediate hit. Introduction[]
Scott introduces Rob, the bad guy from I Love You, Man. Rob corrects him--he wasn't bad he just had a tan. Rob wonders whether the show is supposed to be funny or they going to talk about comedy. Scott reassures him the show is deadly dry. Scott also mentions Human Giant and asks if they are getting back together. Rob tells him they have solo projects and are taking heroin.
While introducing Tom, Scott calls Reno 911! "Reno 9/11." Tom corrects him, saying "We try not to invoke the worst tragedy in the history of the USA when talking about the show." He briefly wonders whether Pearl Harbor had a bigger death count, which leads Scott to ask if they ever thought about calling the show Reno Pearl Harbor.
Doug Loves Movies[]
This episode features Doug Benson calling in with a movie review of Wolverine. Doug also has fun with swine flu.
