Roger Peculiar is a character played by Drew Tarver. He is based on Joe Exotic of Tiger King fame. The name was possibly run through a synonym generator to create the character.
Roger grew up next to a library and has allergies, leading to his unusal Southern accent. His appearance on Comedy Bang! Bang! was to promote his new documentary, Goose Tycoon. It was pitched to Quibi, Seeso 2, Red Fin TV, and the iPhone app Wallet. Roger is a part of the big bird conservation community and shared that geriatic geese, unlike tigers, are preferred to young geese, due to their docile nature. Older geese are easy to pet. Roger's Carole Baskins is Angela Dumpson and he's had it with her. Angela Dumpson had Roger added to the website NaughtyGooseGuys.net and as retaliation, Roger trained one of his geese to steal one of Angela's goose eggs. Like Joe Exotic, Roger Peculiar sings songs about geese, such as "Gooseman", "Mom Goose Bit my Finger", and "Beaks are just Hard Mouths". Roger ran for mayor and lost to a man with 1,000 face piercings. Roger is single.
