Earwolf Synopsis[]

Scott starts his year-end celebration off with a bang. And by a bang, I mean a story about the meeting (or should I say meetings) of the great Tig Notaro and the even greater Taylor Dayne. Some of our friends (or should I say Paul F. Tompkins’ friends) call in from the Goodyear blimp (or should I say I say the good-one blimp). You’ll never believe what Jesse Ventura and Huell Howser are up to!

Tig tells the story of her meeting Taylor Dayne several times and saying "Sorry, but I just have to tell you, I love your voice." The This American Life performance of this can be seen on Taylor Dayne's YouTube channel. John C. ReillyIce-T and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber call into the show from a hot air balloon.

This was voted the best episode of 2010, as named in the Best of 2010.
