I did not come here to chew bubblegum or kick ass. I'm simply looking for the restroom. "Live from New York 2014" is a special episode of Comedy Bang! Bang!, part of the 2014 Live Bundle. Hosted by Scott Aukerman, it stars guests Wyatt Cenac, Alan Thicke (Paul F. Tompkins), and Fourvel (Bobby Moynihan). It was recorded on May 11, 2014.

Earwolf synopsis[]

When Comedy Bang! Bang! makes a stop at a place as big as New York, one show isn't enough! This time around Scott is joined by Paul F. Tompkins and Bobby Moynihan.

Summary[]

Much like the first time he appeared on the show, Wyatt only appears on the episode for a little bit and then has to leave. Alan, Fourvel, and Scott discuss various turns of phrase involving the word "Thicke," Fourvel's recent attacks on Julio Iglesias and Amal Clooney and Dana Plato & Todd Bridges, the names of the Fantastic Four, Fourvel's trip in a steamer trunk, Alan's submissions to the Batman & Robin soundtrack, Bane, Fourvel's canonical homophobia, and Alan's ex-wife's search for alimony. Fourvel finds out his dad was a male prostitute with Joy Behar and his last name is Weinstein. Alan Thicke winds up taking him in as his ward, but Alan might murder him.

Would You Rather?[]

Would you rather live in a world where bees are armed with swords OR all bad things anyone thinks of you would be psychically edited into your Wikipedia entry? Alan Thicke is the winner...and then Fourvel tries to murder everyone.

List of Recurring Jokes[]

  • Catchphrase Suggestion: _mckeon
  • Riddle Me This: They refer to the "Riddle Me This" theme song as "The Riddler's Theme"
  • Texter: Fourvel says Texter is on the case
  • Fry Vault
  • ...But Watch Yourself, Counselor
  • Five, Four, Three, Nose, One...
