King George VI is a character played by Matt Besser. He was the most recent King of the United Kingdom (11 December 1936 – 6 February 1952) and the last Emperor of India (11 December 1936 – 14 August 1947). His reign was unusual in that his brother King Edward VIII abdicated the throne to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson. He is probably best known for his role as the stuttering/swearing king in the film The King's Speech. The character is incorrectly identified as King Henry VI on the official Earwolf page of 95: Phishing for Compliments.
