Joey Tortellini is a character played by Thomas Middleditch. "Joey Tortellini tells it how it is." He is originally from the Sudan (though he doesn't sound like it), has a Hitler mustache, and is unemployed. In spite of his unemployment, he manages to DJ in Vegas every weekend for $70,000 minimum a show, has won 222 lotteries (every lottery for which he has bought a ticket, most of which were mega-jackpots), and is a very skilled amateur pediatrician. He was a general in the Sudanese Government's military and may be guilty of a few war misdemeanors. Though he is 0% an astronaut, he has recently deployed a Kickstarter to raise money to pay NASA to send him to Mars and/or the Moon, which he claims is the only method by which to visit Mars and/or the Moon and have the voyage be considered completely official. He may have also bought NASA, though this is an issue of contention amongst some scholars.
