Earwolf Synopsis[]
Fan favorite (well, at least this fan’s favorite) Ben Schwartz makes his first appearance, and we’re lucky he and Chip Pope were there. You see, public television host Huell Howser came in James Adomian’s stead and boy did he have a lot of questions! Chip and Ben kept him informed, but confusion ensued when Chip left to get his friend R.O. Manse. Don’t miss the premiere of Do They Know It’s Christmas!
Huell Howser[]
This episode (obviously) marks the first appearance of the fictional Huell Howser in the Comedy Bang! Bang! universe. In this episode his recurring character traits of confusion about everyday topics, irrational, unexpected violence, and a love of California, are all well established.
Late in the episode, Scott innocently asks Huell if he has any memories of his mother, prompting a shocking break in Huell's psyche. Huell then screams series of profanities which devolve into a guttural shriek. He continues to shout racist invective at an unseen camera operator, and then claims to have remembered his mission in California is, simply, "to kill." At this point, he turns into a robot and flees the room, choking James Adomian who was on his way in to the studio.
What Am I Thinking?[]
Scott and Ben: go nine rounds with no compromise so Scott calls it a loss.
Chip and Ben: Scott jumps in on round four to match with Chip on the word "methane"
Scott and Huell: abandoned after one round when it becomes clear Huell will only name California cities.
