Huell Burnley Howser is a character played by James Adomian (and once by Paul F. Tompkins). He was a television personality, best known for hosting California's Gold and Visiting... With Huell Howser. He also hosted several similarly-themed specials including California's Communities, California's Golden Fairs, Downtown, California's Water, California's Green, California's Golden Coast, and California's Golden Parks.

On CBB, Howser has mentioned another series that was previously in the works called Just Lookin', in which he goes out into the desert to "stare at nothing in all different directions and try to figure out where it's coming from." His programs are sponsored by the California School Bus Association, the California School Books Association, and the California School Bus Drivers Association.

Howser has very repressed memories of his past and sometimes is triggered by Scott or guests to remember his life before joining the Marine Corps. When this happens, he becomes extremely agitated and even violent, ultimately transforming into a vengeful Crowbot (a crow version of a robot). An original member of the Enigma Force Five with Jesse Ventura, he has also appeared on the Comedy Bang! Bang! TV series.
