Eric "Gutterballs" Gutterman is a character played by Jason Mantzoukas. He is Marissa Wompler's one-time flame and Danielle Bartiromo's ex-boyfriend. Another nickname is Hershey Squirts, gained after crying and shitting his pants in front of the entire school after Marissa recited a monologue from For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf to him. He and Marissa once scissored, a fact which is mentioned quite often.
In 375: Wompler's REAL 17th B-Day Womptacular he announces that Listler has hired him to teach in the STARS program, so he can no longer date Marissa because she is now technically his student. In 392: The Holiday Womptacular it is revealed that he is now dating fellow teacher Rhonda DeLuce, though he is 18 and she is in her 60s.
