Gary Urbansky is a character played by Tawny Newsome. He is the owner of Urbansky's Wig and Weave in Chicago, a beauty supply store that largely serves the African-American community. It is frequently confused for Urban Sky Wig and Weave. He has also previously owned a kimono store, Urbansky's Yukatas and Kimonos, straight from Kyoto. The last movie he's seen was Sideways, and he has avoided looking at any and all screens since then. Gary has trouble seeing colors and most shapes. He ran a hot-water laundry service with his brother Ron Urbansky called Whites Only, which failed. His most recent business venture involved acquiring a wine vineyard in Napa Valley where he created his proprietary blend of thick, tomato-based wine called Pace Picante Salsa Medium. Gary is a working-class, blue collar guy who inherited a multi-million dollar trust from his grandfather.
