Returning champion and the titular “Weird Al” Yankovic of the new album Mandatory Fun is here on this week’s very special Tuesday episode of Comedy Bang! Bang! which is a mandatory listen! “Weird Al” gives us a taste of his new album, explains what his process is like when writing a parody song, and tells us about his #8Videos8Days project. Then, a newcomer to the show who is a former internet troll & current contest winner Claudia O’Doherty drops by to talk about her trip to America all the way from Australia. Go pick up “Weird Al” Yankovic’s new album Mandatory Fun wherever music is sold!
Introduction[]
Scott introduces Al first, they talk about and play songs from his new album. Scott asks if Al enjoys "halt and catch firing" other people's songs.
Claudia is introduced, she explains she is there because she won a competition which her mother ran from her travel agency. Claudia mentions her mother was the basis for the Illeana Douglas character in the movie Alive.
The Computer SAC Not That SAC This SAC[]
Scott asks what Claudia's job is, she says she was an internet troll for five years. She also writes letters to everyone in the phone book promoting her mothers travel agency, but this is not a job. Scott asks why Claudia doesn't e-mail people instead of writing letters, she explains there is no where to find everyone's e-mail addresses. This leads the invention of the SAC named from Scott, Al and Claudia's initials but to avoid confusion they call it The Computer SAC Not That SAC This SAC.
